- Join after being reviewed by the Board of Directors
APJ Membership Information
Apply to and be selected for the APJ Photography Exhibition
We accept submissions for the APJ Photography Exhibition, which is held every year, and if your work is selected you will be eligible for membership.
You will be sent an application form for membership when you are notified of your selection.
The submission period for the 2026 APJ Photography Exhibition is from December 8, 2025 to December 19, 2025.
Join after being reviewed by the Board of Directors
Review by the Board of Directors
Send five prints of your work (4-cut, 6-cut, or A4 size) and, if approved by the Board of Directors, you will be admitted to the club.
Please fill out the application form for membership review and send it to the secretariat along with your work. (Applications accepted at any time.)
There is no review fee.

Membership fees are approximately as follows:
Initiation fee: ¥10,000
Annual membership fee: ¥15,000 (Members who are selected through the open competition will be exempt from the annual membership fee in the year of selection.)
Photo exhibition fee: Approximately ¥30,000 + purchase of the photo book “Mountain Ridge”
Photo session participation fee: Approximately ¥20,000-¥30,000 (optional)
